2nd German-African Forum on Vocational Training and Education
- Digitalisation: Scaling up for today's labor market -

on October 13th, 2022
Hilton Frankfurt City Centre, Frankfurt / Main
hosted by "1st Africa Trade & Invest" (October 12th-13th, 2022).

The past years have made clear: vocational education and training and skills development systems in Europe and Africa need to digitalize. The labor market needs to adapt to a new reality. Which digital resources and tools are needed? What should didactic concepts and methods look like nowadays?  How can teachers and learners be prepared to use advanced technologies that meet the requirements of the labor market? Under the motto Digitalization: Scaling up for today's labor market, the second TVET-Forum offers German companies and high-ranking African guests an opportunity to exchange ideas and develop joint initiatives. In panel discussions and workshop formats, private sector approaches as well as the current Africa strategies of the German government will be discussed and presented.

We are honoured to announce that the following African (deputy-)ministers have already confirmed their attendance:

  • Hon. Mrs Luísa Maria Alves Grilo, Minister of Education of Angola
  • Hon. Malam Adamu Adamu, Minister of Education of Nigeria
  • Hon. Mrs Dr Itah Kandjii-Murangi (MP), Minister of Higher Education, Technology & Innovation of Namibia
  • Hon. Mrs Gifty Twum Ampofo, Deputy Minister for Education of Ghana
